Program Schedule
Program Flow Overview
Week 1 – Immersion & Expansion
The first week front-loads collective learning, dialogue, and exploration. Artists are introduced to the landscape, local art spaces, and one another through guided workshops and field trips. This creates a shared vocabulary and sense of place that informs their practice.
4 workshop days + 3 field trips encourage experimentation and cross-pollination.
Evenings like the Happy Hour outing and Bonfire offer informal reflection and bonding.
Week 2 – Focus & Production
The second week intentionally slows down, giving artists autonomy and time to synthesize what they’ve absorbed. The focus shifts toward individual studio practice and deep work, punctuated by a few light-touch collective moments.
7 work blocks anchor the week.
1–2 workshops maintain structure without overprogramming.
Social gatherings (Pool Party, First Friday Tour) sustain community while celebrating outcomes, as well as Pride parade and other downtown Fayetteville Pride events.
